The game was called beano in America but later on it gained the name of bingo. This happened when Edwin S. Lowe, a New York sales man, heard a player call out bingo by mistake in place of beano. And from then onwards the name bingo was used. Bingo was originated from America and from America bingo gained its identity. Today people from America make huge amounts of money from this game and play the game for leisure with friends and relatives as well.
